What are Clip in hair extensions?
Clip-in hair extensions, also known as clip-in weaves, is an attachment method where wefts of hair can be easily installed into your natural hair by multiple small pressure sensitive clips. One set of clip-in hair extensions consists of a variety of wefts of hair with one, two, three, or four clips each, in various sizes.

How to apply Clip-in hair extensions?

- Step 1: Combining their hair, let the hair not knot.
- Step 2: The hair is divided into two parts to clear, the hair clip fixed.
- Step 3: Open the wig all spring locking clip.
- Step 4: Please put the middle clip in the center of your part just above the section line and close the clip.
- Step 5: Please one side clip into position along the part and close the clip
- Step 6: Please put the second side clip into position and snap shut.

How to protect Clip-in hair extensions?
If you want to keep your clip in hair extensions fresh and maintained. We’ve listed a few key maintenance tips here to help you get the most out of your hair.
Brush your hair and extensions before use.
We don't recommend exposing your extensions to harsh chemicals such as bleach, chlorine, alcohol, sulfate, keratin and protein as these will strip the oils from the extensions, leaving them dry, brittle and tangled.
It is critical to wash your extensions with a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner only.
Clip in hair Extensions do not need to be washed very often unless you are wearing them on a regular basis.
It is best to gently brush and leave your extensions out to air dry after washing.
Always make sure you store your extensions in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. Also, ensure your extensions are completely dry when storing them to prevent mold and other bacteria from growing. Importantly, hold them in large enough room to maintain the original look for as long as possible.
We recommend braiding your extensions before bed and while being stored, to avoid tangles.
As with all of our clip-in hair extensions, KFhair hair extensions can be straightened, blow-dried, styled and curled. In order to extend the lifespan of your hair extensions, we suggest always using heat protection spray prior to styling your set.
How to choose the correct length?
Kfhair offers hair lengths from 8 inches to 30 inches. Depending on your preferences and needs, you can optionally choose the length you want. Since the curly and wavy extensions are processed from straight styles, curly and wavy hair will be shorter by 1″ to 2 ” than straight hair in the same length. Therefore, when measuring, hair should be pulled straight to get accurate measurements.
- How long do clip in hair extensions last?
As all KFhair extensions are human, they have a long-life span. With the correct care and maintenance, it's not uncommon for quality clip-ins to last up to 12 months. However, if over worn and not treated well they will need replacing between 3-6 months. The better you look after the hair and the less you wear it, the longer it will last. It’s good to bear in mind that very light shades will usually have a shorter life due to the chemical processing they go through during manufacturing.
- Are remy human hair clip in extensions good?
Remy” is a high quality type of hair as it is “cuticle correct”, meaning all the cuticles on the hair shaft run in the same direction (downwards). This ensures the hair will stay shiny, soft and tangle free for months, even years, if well cared for.
- Do clip in hair extensions damage your hair?
If you clip them in and remove them carefully, your real hair clip in extensions will do absolutely no damage to your natural hair. Don’t rush when applying them and treat them gently; when cared for properly you’ll find they are extremely comfortable and completely safe.

- What is the difference between tape in and clip in hair extensions?
Tape In, Micro Ring, Nano Ring, I-Tip and U-Tip hair extensions all belong to the semi-permanent group of hair extensions, they are attached to the hair line using an adhesive. The advantage is they last longer than clip ins, but they have to be fitted by salon professionals whereas clip in extensions are easier to apply.
- Can I get a refund if I want to return my Clip in Hair Extensions?
Yes, you can send your hair extensions back for a full refund or exchange within 15 days of receiving your order. Please make sure the hair extensions are unused and in good condition.
